Job Summary
The Area Print Support Representative – Floater will be responsible for servicing client accounts in the Greater Toronto Area or Kitchener to Mississauga, depending on the candidate's location. This role will involve operating digital print equipment, providing customer support, and ensuring timely delivery of print services.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate digital print equipment, including black and white and color copiers/printers
- Understand and utilize workflow tools, such as Free Flow and Fiery
- Operate standard finishing equipment, including paper cutters, bindery, laminating, desktop folders, and drill
- Provide customer support, including receiving requests, providing estimates, scheduling, and tracking print production requests
- Perform quality inspections before, during, and after output of each production run
- Track and store jobs as required for reuse at a future date
- Maintain reporting logs and information for billing purposes
- Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products
- Maintain supply inventory levels
- Problem-solve basic issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- 1-2 years of experience in a digital print shop and customer service environment
- Intermediate use of MS Office, Adobe, and other relevant software
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for up to 80% of the day
- Ability and willingness to learn and develop
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Post-high school technology training or experience preferred
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle
