Key Responsibilities:

  • Prominent positioning at entrance points to offer parking assistance to arriving and departing guest vehicles.
  • Extend a warm welcome to all guests arriving by vehicle, promoting valet parking as the hotel's exclusive parking option or clearly direct guests to the nearest public parking service if preferred.
  • Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction by providing top-notch service to hotel guests upon arrival, departure, and throughout their stay.
  • Greet all guests and colleagues with a friendly smile and a suitable hospitality greeting.
  • Safeguard all vehicle keys and store them in a secure location.
  • Provide guests with detailed parking fees and a clear explanation of the benefits associated with valet parking.
  • Ensure all entrance areas remain clear and unobstructed for arriving and departing vehicles by efficiently parking cars.
  • Conduct a thorough inspection of guest vehicles before entering the garage, highlighting any damage on the corresponding valet parking ticket.
  • Offer guests information and answers to their questions regarding hotel facilities, meeting functions, dining options, local transportation alternatives, and tourist attractions when requested or anticipated.
  • Remove items from stored vehicles as required and provide other miscellaneous services requested by guests or the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Assist in fire alarms by adhering to the hotel's fire response manual.
  • Ensure guest and colleague safety and security by reporting any suspicious or unusual behavior or occurrence to the appropriate supervisor on duty and informing security.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the Fairmont Service Standard Expectations as it pertains to valet parking.
  • In the course of normal duties, observe, report, or take immediate corrective action on deficiencies, malfunctions, and untidiness.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate all types of vehicles (manual and regular transmission).

Required Qualifications:

  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and shift work.

  • Valid Driver's License with no infractions.
