About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Valanimman Thai cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our Thai cuisine, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, salads, and main courses, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working order.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure that we have everything required to meet customer demand.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs smoothly.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
