Key Responsibilities:- Transcribe and process clinician orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients, including scheduling appointments and communicating with patients and healthcare teams.
- Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including preparing documents and communicating with patients and families.
- Participate in the onboarding and orientation of new staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Grade 12, medical terminology, and graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk Program, plus one year's recent, related experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment and software applications.
