Job Title: QE Automation Engineer

We are seeking a talented QA professional to contribute to the development of high-performing applications.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for effective planning, executing, automating, and tracking functional tests in the ARCHER portfolio - maintenance releases or projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirement documents and business user stories.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools.
  • Execute test cases (manual/automated), document test results, and raise defects whenever necessary.
  • Work with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting, and other functions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies like Sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings.
  • Participate in E2E and integration testing.
  • Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in various environments.
  • Experience in test automation frameworks/tools and development languages.
  • Good knowledge of QE processes, testing life cycle, SDLC, and defect management processes.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience in microservice testing, Kafka, and API testing.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools.
  • Database technologies and SQL experience.
