**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled IMS Cobol Developer to join our team at Royal Cyber Inc. as a Cobol Systems Designer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality Cobol systems that meet the needs of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Analyze and review business requirements to provide detailed design specifications for in-scope systems.
  • Collaborate with our Architect and Business Analyst teams to derive technical solutions that adhere to our company standards.
  • Develop and unit test code components to ensure compatibility with interfacing code and applications.
  • Support system integration and business acceptance testing for defect resolution and batch job execution.
  • Provide technical SME support for various phases of assigned initiatives, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and warranty.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork, and ensure timely communication of issues and points of interest.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team.

**Requirements**

  • Strong knowledge of Cobol programming language and mainframe-based technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
