Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Support:
    • Investigate and define operational issues and prioritize based on severity, risk, and/or strategic business needs.
    • Manage issue logs and Contact Centre requests.
    • Design and implement solutions to prevent recurrence with the end goal of ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Partnership:
    • Work as a regular liaison with technology partners, senior management team, and internal and external clients.
    • Ensure internal clients are well-informed of the team mandate and nature, including relevant policies and legislation changes.
    • Promote and support the concepts, products, and services of the Mainframe services area.
  • Projects Delivery:
    • Act as subject matter expert in the assessment of impacts for planned system changes and projects.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant organization standards (Business, Continuity, Security, Compliance, and Privacy).
    • Develop and maintain productive relationships with Technology, QA, Project team, and others.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Applications, JCL, ISPF, Endeavour, and IMS or DB2 databases.
  • Experience working with CA7 Scheduler, SAR, and IBM RACF Security.
  • Leadership skills and strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and CICS knowledge or experience.
  • Digital savvy with a willingness to adapt to new tools and trends.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within a team construct effectively.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
