We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Development Officer to join our team at the Reh-Fit Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fund development strategy to support the Centre's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for fundraising, including donor recognition and stewardship, sponsorship development, and grant writing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders to secure funding and support for the Centre's programs and services.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.
  • Develop and implement effective communication and marketing strategies to promote the Centre's mission and fundraising initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Reh-Fit Foundation Board and Committee volunteers to achieve fundraising goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in a related field or related business experience.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a not-for-profit environment.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing fundraising strategies, securing funding, and building relationships with donors and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
