Leadership Opportunity
The ExecThread Institute is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer & Scientific Director to drive the strategic direction of its research activities. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the scientific and business strategies that align with the Institute's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the scientific and business directions of the Institute
- Recruit and retain scientific and senior management staff
- Secure funding and produce high-quality research
- Ensure policies and initiatives align with the Institute's mission and values
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, with a proven track record in securing funding and producing high-quality work. You will also have a deep understanding of the research landscape, particularly in the pediatric field, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible environment. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential, as is a willingness to engage with the intricacies of First Nations research.
What We Offer
The CEO will play a pivotal role in the Institute's strategic planning and will be responsible for effectively managing the diverse aspects of the research mission. The appointment is for a 5-year term, with the possibility of renewal, and relocation to Manitoba is a necessary requirement.
