Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist at Paladin Airport Security Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive passenger experience by providing exceptional customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Proactive Passenger Support: Identify opportunities to assist passengers through the screening process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Communication and Liaison: Communicate CATSA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to passengers in both English and French, utilizing your bilingual skills to provide support and assistance as needed.
- Special Needs Support: Provide support to passengers with special needs, such as mobility or hearing/vision loss, and offer physical support of passenger belongings when required.
- Cultural Awareness and Diversity: Understand and describe the screening process to passengers, while demonstrating empathy and active listening skills to build trust and rapport.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise closely with the checkpoint team of Screening Officers and Managers to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive passenger experience.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing role for a minimum of 1 year.
- Language Skills: Fluent in French and English.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience working under pressure in a heavily regulated environment.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate simply, clearly, and effectively with diplomacy.
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating empathy and active listening skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to customer needs and provide effective solutions or options where appropriate.
- Physical Abilities: Physical ability to support passengers with reduced mobility and their belongings.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED.
- Citizenship: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain Transport Security Clearance and other advanced clearances as required.
