Job Title: Timekeeper and Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary:

The Timekeeper and Accounts Payable Specialist will provide support to all Aerospace Branches, including CSH & HP, by maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, processing payroll and accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with all HR and Corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll and accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain employee records, including timekeeping and attendance data
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding employee time records and accounts payable
  • Perform electronic voucher matching and reconcile discrepancies
  • Liaise with Purchasing regarding PO variances and with payroll department on related employee issues
  • Prepare reports as required

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years accounting experience
  • Experience in a payroll function would be considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment
