The Clinical Nurse will adhere to the professional standards and ethical guidelines established by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives, providing patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
This role includes training across various clinical environments, particularly in emergency care, through the Northern Health Regional Emergency Department Education Program (REDEP).
Emergency Training Program Highlights- Fundamentals of emergency nursing
- Development of specialized competencies for safe and effective care
- Support for placement and funding for educational materials and travel
- Completion of the educational program is mandatory before department assignment
