We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Chetwynd General Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessments, plan, and provide personal care to patients, in accordance with the competency guidelines and scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Work collaboratively with the Unit/Program Manager and multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and provide nursing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Operate related equipment and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice as currently required by the CLPNBC, including administering medications.
