Velan is seeking a skilled Application Specialist to join our team. As an Application Specialist, you will play a key role in helping our business partners achieve their goals by providing expert technical support and guidance.

Responsibilities:

* Review and evaluate customer inquiries and technical specifications
* Identify technical factors that may affect cost, delivery, and ability to conform
* Select, size, and price valves and actuators that meet customer requirements
* Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary information for comprehensive quotations

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
* 10 years of experience as an engineer
* 5 years of experience in a similar position (asset)
* Experience in inside sales or customer service in industrial products
* Strong organizational skills and ability to respond well to changing priorities and deadlines
* Strong communication skills in French and English (oral and written)
* Strong computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel)
