Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist to join our team. As an Application Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing business intelligence solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Modeling and Warehousing: Design and develop data models, data warehouses, and ETL processes to support business intelligence solutions.
  • Business Intelligence Development: Develop and implement business intelligence solutions using OBIEE and ODI, including report design, data visualization, and performance tuning.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess solid knowledge of Oracle database, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, and Weblogic administration.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with business users to understand their needs and educate them on data warehousing and business intelligence technology.
  • Teamwork and Initiative: Work independently and as part of the Applications management team to identify and address business needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on business intelligence and data warehousing.
  • Skills: Solid knowledge of OBIEE 11g, ODI 11g, data warehouse implementation projects, and performance tuning.
  • Language: Bilingual: English and French.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle OLAP/Cube: Knowledge of Oracle OLAP/Cube is an asset.
  • SSIS: Knowledge of SSIS is an asset.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Strong technical data warehousing/business intelligence skillset, including Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle database, PL/SQL, data warehouse database design, data modeling, ETL process design and development, ODI, performance tuning.
