Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Heritage Nanny Community Living and Support Inc. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with mental health needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and household chores
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other support workers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to individuals and their families on mental health topics
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and research
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience working in mental health support or a related field
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as social work or psychology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
