Job Summary:

The Child Care Worker Assistant will provide high-quality care and support to infants and toddlers in our daycare setting. This role involves assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and submitting written observations on children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
