Job Title: Child Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Child Care Support Worker to join our team at Upper Canada Child Care. As a Child Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers in program delivery and ensuring operational requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in program delivery and ensure operational requirements are met
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal/snack preparation, toileting, diapering, and dressing
  • Supervise children in a variety of settings, including outdoor public spaces
  • Perform general housekeeping and classroom duties
  • Use computer systems and programs to support program delivery
Requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age or older due to licensing requirements
  • Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid (training provided upon selection if required)
  • Basic understanding of special needs and knowledge of the developmental needs of children
  • Ability to use computer systems and programs
