About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at St. Phillips Bakery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development: Develop and implement new recipes and product lines to meet customer demand and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of bakers and production staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to produce high-quality products.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong understanding of baking and pastry production is essential.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or pastry production environment is required.
  • Work Setting: This role will be based in a large volume bakery environment, where you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: You will need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
