We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at I Cornetti Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry production and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Job Description:- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or pastry production environment.
The Head Baker will be responsible for leading our pastry production team and ensuring that all products meet our high standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing dough and batters for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Preparing pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
- Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Baking mixed dough and batters.
- Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Preparing special orders.
- Supervising baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Ensuring that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory.
- Operating machines and equipment.
