Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at LGC Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of our facilities, production equipment, and laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance personnel to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and improve overall efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that maintenance personnel have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, including metrics such as downtime, maintenance costs, and equipment reliability

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or facilities management
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex maintenance issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
