About the Role

Westlake is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production and building equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and performing preventive maintenance, reducing unexpected downtime, and maintaining a high level of equipment uptime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel in performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify and address equipment issues
  • Manage and maintain a critical spare parts inventory
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties

Requirements

  • Strong electrical background with 309A or 442A license or electrical education
  • Experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
