Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Lake Louise Ski Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and kitchen operations
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure excellent food preparation and presentation
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and banquets
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
