Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at I&G Bismarketing Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training new employees, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train new employees on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that all employees meet the required standards.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and ensure that all food is presented attractively.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a physically demanding role. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and will be expected to work under pressure to meet customer demands.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
  • Ability to train and supervise staff.
