Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure product reliability and durability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test products, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct damage severity analysis and stress-life/load-life calculations to optimize product performance.
  • Utilize data acquisition equipment and software, including MTS RPC Pro and FlexTest, to collect and analyze data.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, including troubleshooting and tuning of servo-hydraulic systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve product development and testing processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of engineering experience within a testing environment within the automotive industry.
  • Strong time management, leadership, planning, and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a unionized environment and support various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
