About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Great Lakes Dentistry. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Interview patients to obtain case histories, schedule and confirm appointments, and complete insurance and other claim forms.
  • Office Management: Maintain a filing system, order supplies, and maintain inventory. Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
  • Documentation: Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
  • Confidentiality: Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
  • Administrative Support: Prepare draft agendas for meetings, take, transcribe, and distribute minutes.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
Work Environment
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
