About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant at Delta Dental Clinic. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation
    • Prepare patients for dental examinations by reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and explaining procedures.
    • Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in good working order.
  • Supply Management
    • Order and maintain an adequate supply of dental materials, instruments, and equipment.
    • Restock supplies as needed to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Administrative Support
    • Perform reception and clerical duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing patient records.
    • Invoice patients for dental services and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Instrument Maintenance
    • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure proper function and hygiene.
  • Patient Education
    • Provide patients with education on oral hygiene and dental health, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Work Environment

As a Dental Assistant at Delta Dental Clinic, you will work in a fast-paced clinical environment with a team of dedicated professionals. You will be required to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a dental or healthcare setting is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
