Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, planning, execution, control, and completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the efforts of cross-functional teams, third-party contractors, and consultants to ensure project delivery on time, on budget, and meeting all contractual requirements.
  • Provide preliminary project plans to assist the business development team in securing new contracts.
  • Work closely with functional managers to develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
  • Coordinate personnel and resources required to successfully complete projects.
  • Interface directly with customers as the central point of contact to ensure timely dissemination of information to and from the project team.
  • Creates project-related document deliverables.
  • Interfaces with senior management on project progress and issues.
  • Holds regular project status review meetings and gate review meetings.
  • Works closely with the project team to develop creative solutions to problems.
  • Assists in evaluating and assessing project KPIs.
  • Assists in the development of project management best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Direct experience in mass transit or lighting is an asset.
  • Direct experience in manufacturing and/or industrial design is an asset.
