Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscaping Supervisor - Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise and Schedule Staff: Lead and manage a team of landscaping professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and other tasks as required.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features, ensuring that they are built to the highest standard.
  • Plan, Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate and supervise landscape construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and other relevant information.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all equipment is in good working order, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment and Supplies: Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies as required for landscaping projects.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement work schedules and procedures to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Supervision

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The Landscaping Supervisor - Team Lead will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
