About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tree Service Supervisor to join our team at Seneca Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance activities, including labor and material estimation, landscape construction work, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement effective grounds maintenance plans to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
  • Estimate Labor and Materials: Conduct thorough estimates of labor and materials required for various grounds maintenance projects.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and supervise a team of nursery and greenhouse workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Requisition Materials and Equipment: Order and manage the procurement of necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for grounds maintenance activities.
  • Maintain Work Records: Accurately maintain records and logs of work completed, including labor hours, materials used, and project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Site Environment: The role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Area of Specialization: Tree service and grounds maintenance.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
