About the Role

Arcadis Vancouver office is seeking a Senior Associate Architect and Studio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare architecture team, you will work on a variety of healthcare projects in BC, Canada, and the USA. Your expertise will play a crucial role in the planning and development of healthcare facilities, engaging clients, and delivering creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of architects, job captains, and intern architects, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Oversee the Studio Practice in Healthcare, driving quality control and mentoring staff in applicable building codes and construction details.
  • Collaborate with clients and represent the firm at various working groups, leading presentations and driving project success.
  • Develop and implement feasibility studies, development permit applications, building permit applications, and contract documents for tender.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in architectural work within the healthcare sector.
  • Licensed Architect with a strong track record of managing and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in client engagement.
