We are currently seeking a Healthcare Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with a skilled group of healthcare architects, medical planners, and interior designers on a wide range of healthcare initiatives. This position offers the chance to engage with collaborative teams throughout different project phases, delivering cutting-edge healthcare solutions for our clients.
We partner with clients globally to create, support, and enhance intelligent, secure, and sustainable environments where individuals can live, work, learn, and thrive. The design of spaces significantly influences the quality of life. Whether developing new residential areas, commercial spaces, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, or research centers, our focus is on ensuring that the environments we create meet the needs of the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting feasibility studies, preparing development and building permit applications, and creating contract documents for tender, either independently or as part of a larger team.
- Engaging with clients and representing the firm in various working groups, including the preparation of presentation materials.
- Participating in the contract administration phase, managing the construction contract on behalf of the client, which includes performing site reviews, evaluating shop drawings, and addressing RFIs.
- Collaborating effectively as part of a project team, which may include job captains and intern architects, depending on the project's scale and complexity.
Experience & Skills:
- 5-10 years of experience in the architectural sector.
- Licensed architect.
- Comprehensive understanding of all project delivery phases and models, including Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Construction Management.
- Familiarity with relevant CSA standards, building codes, and construction details.
- Proficiency in Revit is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Local experience is preferred.
The compensation range for this role is competitive and will vary based on factors such as experience, education, and project specifics.
