As a Senior Commercial Strategy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting Pernod Ricard's goal to excel in the market through comprehensive analysis of our commercial performance and the formulation of actionable strategies to enhance our performance outlook.

Utilizing your expertise in handling extensive data sets and your understanding of the beverage alcohol sector, you will be tasked with tracking and reporting our commercial performance against established KPIs, while also devising impactful actions and best practices that will propel the commercial organization forward.

This position requires a high degree of collaboration with various divisions, including Market-Customer, Marketing, New Business Ventures, and Supply Chain.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly collaborative, and have strong interpersonal abilities, along with a natural curiosity and a focus on analysis and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy with in-depth analysis and insights.
  • Develop reporting mechanisms, monitor progress, and provide insights and recommendations aligned with key imperatives in Pernod Ricard's commercial strategy.
  • Create and maintain national and regional commercial performance scorecards for KPIs.
  • Conduct ongoing reconciliation of shipments to off-trade channels for various stakeholders within the commercial team.
  • Monitor listing statuses and national/regional performance against KPIs for innovative products.
  • Offer analytical support to Market-Customer and Brand Teams.
  • Oversee the brand investment framework.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Execution teams to establish best practices for in-store execution standards.
  • Interpret market performance and trends effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in analysis and strategic insights.
  • Proficient technical skills in MS Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Market Insights/Analytics is preferred.
  • Background in Consumer-Packaged Goods, with an understanding of the Spirits & Wine industry being advantageous.
