As a Senior Analyst in the realm of Commercial Strategy & Performance within the Commercial Centre of Excellence (Commercial CoE), your primary objective will be to assist Pernod Ricard in its goal to surpass market expectations through continuous evaluation of our Commercial performance and the formulation of actionable insights and frameworks aimed at enhancing our performance trajectory.

Utilizing your expertise in handling extensive data sets and your understanding of the beverage alcohol sector, you will be tasked with the responsibility of tracking and reporting our Commercial performance against established KPIs, while also crafting impactful actions and best practices that will propel the Commercial division forward.

This position requires a high degree of collaboration and coordination with various divisions, including Market-Customer, Marketing, New Business Ventures, and Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, strong interpersonal abilities, a natural curiosity, and a strong inclination towards analysis and proactive measures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy and Performance by providing in-depth analysis and insights.
  • Create reports, track progress, and offer insights and recommendations aligned with key objectives outlined in Pernod Ricard's Commercial strategy.
  • Establish and maintain National and regional Commercial performance scorecards for key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor product depletions and coordinate plans to address any issues.
  • Ensure ongoing reconciliation of shipments to on-the-ground sales for various stakeholders within the Commercial team.
  • Support industry forecasts across Spirits, Wine, and Ready-to-Drink categories.
  • Generate provisional regional forecasts for new product innovations and launches.
  • Track listing status and national/regional performance against KPIs for innovative products.
  • Provide analytical support to Market-Customer and Brand Teams.
  • Oversee the brand investment framework for the SPD brand.
  • Partner with Brand and Execution teams to establish best practices for in-store execution standards.

Required Skills, Abilities & Education

  • Advanced analytical mindset.
  • Ability to interpret market performance and trends effectively.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in analysis and strategic insights.
  • Strong technical proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Market Insights/Analytics is preferred.
  • Background in Consumer-Packaged Goods, with an understanding of the Spirits and Wine industry being advantageous.
