Job Title: Wholesale Buyer

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Ont inc. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale, negotiating prices and discounts with suppliers, and maintaining adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends and product demand.
  • Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal display and sales.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, considering factors such as quality, price, and availability.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay informed about new products and trends.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sales experience in medical equipment and supplies.
