Job Title: Wholesale Buyer

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Ont inc. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale, negotiating prices and terms with suppliers, and maintaining adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study market reports and sales promotion materials to determine market trends and consumer demand.
  • Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal display and sales.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales data, and supplier information.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets and ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, considering factors such as quality, price, and availability.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in wholesale buying or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in database software and other relevant tools.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language.
