Job Title: Assistant Buyer

Oyato Food Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Buyer to join our team. As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a crucial role in procuring high-quality merchandise for our wholesale establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and Maintain Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise.
  • Merchandise Sourcing: Identify and select the best products to meet our customers' needs, ensuring a wide range of options and competitive pricing.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient storage and handling of merchandise.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, wholesale establishment/store, retail business, or rural area.
