Retail Store Manager

At Friendly Dollar & Discount, we are seeking a highly organized and reliable Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Order merchandise and authorize the return of items to ensure that our inventory is up-to-date and accurate.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that our sales floor is staffed at all times.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform our store operations decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that our store is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage cash and ensure that our store's financial transactions are accurate and secure.
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure that our staff are meeting their performance goals.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Organized and reliable with excellent communication skills.
- Team player with initiative and a positive attitude.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Permanent employment with 37.5 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
