We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Friendly Dollar & Discount. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring excellent customer service and a smooth shopping experience.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to improve performance and achieve sales goals.
- Merchandise and Inventory
- Order and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts.
- Authorize returns and exchanges, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
- Store Operations
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize labor costs.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Customer Service
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience and driving repeat business.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of retail management experience
- Personal Qualities
- Organized and reliable with excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
