Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Friendly Dollar & Discount. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business needs
  • Manage inventory, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns
  • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient store operations
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply chain issues
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe store environment
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales floor staff
  • Manage cash handling and maintain accurate records
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-7 months of retail experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude
Work Environment

Our retail store operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week in a team-oriented setting.
