Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

At Friendly Dollar & Discount, we are seeking a highly organized and reliable Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to perform their tasks.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they meet our high standards.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns to maintain an efficient inventory system.
  • Establish work schedules and manage cash transactions to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform our business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that our shelves are always fully stocked.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-7 months of experience in a retail environment.
