About the Role

GOLDi Transport Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of drivers and ensure they are equipped to handle their responsibilities.
    • Provide guidance and support to drivers to improve their performance and productivity.
  • Operational Management
    • Coordinate and schedule transportation activities to meet customer demands.
    • Monitor and control transportation costs to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all drivers and staff adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols.
    • Investigate and report any incidents or accidents.
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance driver skills and knowledge.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to drivers to improve their performance.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to build strong relationships and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in transportation or logistics.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in English language.
Working Conditions
