Job Summary

Consumer Delivery Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Truck Drivers: Oversee the daily activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor and Improve Operations: Identify areas for improvement in our operations and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all drivers are in compliance with company policies, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Train and Develop Drivers: Provide training and coaching to drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage Dispatch and Scheduling: Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure accurate scheduling and routing of drivers.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate records of driver performance, vehicle maintenance, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • MS Office
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Eligible for professional liability insurance
  • Driving record check (abstract)
