As a Facility Maintenance Specialist, your role will encompass preventative upkeep, urgent repairs, and prompt responses to standard maintenance and repair inquiries for our facilities, grounds, and equipment.
Role Overview
In the capacity of a Facility Maintenance Specialist, you will undertake a diverse array of maintenance responsibilities, which include mending furniture, plumbing fixtures, and equipment, alongside executing electrical and mechanical repairs. You will also be tasked with maintaining a tidy and organized workspace, participating in emergency on-call rotations, delegating tasks to colleagues, and establishing preventative maintenance protocols. Furthermore, you will keep detailed records of maintenance activities and expenditures, uphold our organizational values, and promote a culture of health and safety by identifying potential hazards and ensuring adherence to regulations.
Qualifications
A minimum of two years of relevant experience in building and system maintenance or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience. Familiarity with maintenance best practices. Skilled in utilizing tools and executing tasks related to building and system maintenance. Basic computer proficiency for communication and documentation purposes. Must possess the physical capability to lift 50lbs and perform job duties in the designated work environment.About You
