MUSKOKA HILLS RETIREMENT VILLA INC. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Medical Support: Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist residents with feeding, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Communication: Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments, and answer call signals to determine residents' needs.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available for patient care.
  • First Aid: Administer first aid in emergency situations, following established protocols.
  • Documentation: Complete reports and maintain accurate records of patient care and activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
