Mushroom Cultivation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Mushroom Farm Worker at Mountforest Agroproducts Ltd. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain the mushroom crops to ensure optimal growth and quality.
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Cut and harvest agricultural crops, including mushrooms, to meet production demands.
- Hand harvest vegetables and other crops as needed.
- Mix and apply fertilizers to promote healthy crop growth.
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal yields.
- Clean and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry as needed.
The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. The work site environment is wet/damp, and the individual must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Reliability and judgment are essential for this role.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
The primary language of work is English, and the work schedule is 40 hours per week. The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production demands.
