Mushroom Cultivation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mushroom Farm Worker to join our team at Mountforest Agroproducts Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain the mushroom crops to ensure optimal growth and quality.
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Cut and harvest agricultural crops, including mushrooms, to meet production demands.
- Hand harvest vegetables and other crops as needed.
- Mix and apply fertilizers to promote healthy crop growth.
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure maximum yields.
- Clean and maintain the work area to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
- Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry as required.
The Mushroom Farm Worker will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, physically demanding conditions, and extended periods of standing. The work site environment is wet/damp, and the worker must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
Requirements:- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but the worker must be willing to train and learn the necessary skills.
- Reliability, judgement, and teamwork are essential qualities for this role.
- The worker must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- The work term is permanent, and the worker will work 40 hours per week.
