About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Jeanette Parker & Robert Dale Parker. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for Pets: Provide care and attention to our clients' pets, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the love and attention they deserve.
  • Administer Bedside and Personal Care: Assist our clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to our clients, as prescribed by their healthcare providers, and monitor their response to treatment.
  • Assist with Daily Tasks: Assist our clients with daily tasks, such as laundry, light housekeeping, and meal preparation, to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Provide Companionship: Spend quality time with our clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor Health and Safety: Monitor our clients' health and safety, reporting any concerns or changes to our management team.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
