Responsibilities
  • Care for Pets: Provide care and attention to our clients' pets, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the love and attention they deserve.
  • Administer Bedside and Personal Care: Assist our clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to our clients, as prescribed by their healthcare providers, and monitor their response to treatment.
  • Assist with Daily Tasks: Assist our clients with daily tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, helping them maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Provide Companionship: Spend quality time with our clients, engaging in activities that bring them joy and companionship, such as reading, watching movies, or playing games.
  • Assist with Exercise and Physical Activity: Encourage and assist our clients with regular exercise and physical activity, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Collect Specimens: Collect specimens, such as urine or stool samples, as required by our clients' healthcare providers, and transport them to the appropriate facilities.
  • Demonstrate Infant Care: Provide guidance and support to new parents, demonstrating infant care techniques and promoting healthy development.
  • Feed and Assist with Feeding: Assist our clients with feeding, including preparing and serving nutritious meals, and ensuring they have access to a safe and healthy food environment.
  • Perform Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for our clients, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Plan Therapeutic Diets and Menus: Work with our clients to plan and prepare nutritious meals, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment
  • Employer's Home: Work in the comfort of our clients' homes, providing personalized care and support.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Work in a variety of settings, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
