Job Summary

RITE-LINE TRANSPORTATION INC. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license
  • At least 2 years of experience as a tractor-trailer driver
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Working Conditions

The Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, driving a tractor-trailer combination across the country. The driver will be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The driver will also be required to spend extended periods away from home, up to several weeks at a time.
